Daily Meal Post 2/10

Things are looking better! A couple of notes: pre-made dressings usually are made with bad fats, so stay away. Traditionally, pesto is made with cheese. Anything from a can or bag you MUST READ YOUR LABELS. And take it easy on the Lara Bars, being Paleo means cutting back the dried fruit and that's all a Lara Bar is.

    2. I grated the sweet potato on a cheese grater then cut up the chicken sausage really small and mixed it in with an egg. Then I cooked it in some left over bacon fat :) they are amazing!!! and you can keep them in a tupperware and reheat :)

(2 cup almond meal..bag at Trader Joes for $3.99!, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, 1/4 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh rosemary chopped... mix all together until really thick, lightly grease pizza pan or cookie sheet with extra virgin olive oil, place dough, shape the dough into a thin circle on the sheet and bake 20 min on 350. add toppings and put in oven again for 25-30 min)

any recommendations for a paleo marinara sauce?

    2. You can make marinara sauce too, I like Giada de Laurentiis's recipe on food network it's paleo without any adjustments and its really yummy if you have the time to put it together!
